Ennis Kent Anderson returned to his Heavenly Father, surrounded by family, on Dec. 22, 2011.
He was born Nov. 14th, 1938 in Shelly Idaho to Leon W. & Cassia Anderson. He served in the Central States Mission. Married his sweetheart, Priscilla Williams, April 20th 1962, in the Idaho Falls Temple. Graduated from Blackfoot High, Idaho State Univ., and Univ. of Utah. Employed at LDS Church for 36 years. He demonstrated a life of service, as youth leader, pastor at the SLC Jail, Bishop, and served the people of Atlanta on a mission with his dear wife. He shared his love of the outdoors with many friends and family as a experienced river guide and hunter. His favorite things were wood working, playing piano, sitting by a good campfire, and a sharp chainsaw. Those who knew him were able to experience his love of life through his many jokes and stories. Survived by wife Priscilla and 4 children. Gaylin (Teresa) Simi Valley, Lisa (Mark) Sheffield Ogden, Chad (Amy) Salt Lake, Joy (Kirk) Crabb Pleasant Grove, and 14 grandchildren. He showed much patience and endurance during his health challenges over many years. And special thanks to those who cared for him and stood by him during his fight and became his friends. Viewing Thursday Dec 29th 6-8pm at Salt Lake Highland Stake Center, 1450 E 2700 S, and Friday Dec 30, 9:00 - 10:30 am at Crystal Heights Ward, 1970 East Stratford Ave. SLC, Utah.
